2026 Spring Flag

Ages
5/6U, 6/7U, 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 14U
September 1st of each year is the age cutoff to determine what division you will play in. example: birthdates that fall between 9/1/2012-8/31/2013 will sign up for 14u. No exceptions will be made for age/divisions.
*MUST be 5 years old by the first date of practice (3/24/2026). No exceptions will be made.
When
Registration will run from January 1st-March 15th. Practices will begin March 23rd. The season will run through April 26th.
Where
Games will be across the Central Illinois region. Expect locations to include Washington, East Peoria, Bloomington, Marshall County, Etc.
Practices
How many times the team practices a week are based off coach discretion. Practices will be held at the high school grass practice fields
Games
Games will be held on Sundays. The dates being April 5th, April 12th, April 19th, April 26th. Some teams will possibly play double header games on some of those dates. That just depends on the amount of teams in each age group.
Jerseys
Tshirts will be provided and allowed to be kept by the players at the end of the season.
Extra Costs
No extra costs should be anticipated. If your player would like specialized mouth guards, gloves, or any extra football accessories. That will be at the cost of each family. All players will be provided with a standard mouthguard.
Equipment Required
Mouthguards, flag belts, t-shirts will be required and provided. Closed-toed athletic shoes are required but cleats would be preferred.

Welcome to Washington Panthers Spring Flag Football!
We are thrilled to offer a fun and dynamic short season for our young athletes to develop their football skills in preparation for the summer and fall seasons ahead. This is a great opportunity for players to learn the fundamentals of the game while enjoying a positive and team-oriented experience.
What’s Provided: Flag belt, Mouthpiece, T-shirt (to be kept by the player at the end of the season)
We are also looking for dedicated volunteers to help coach and support the development of our future Panthers. Your involvement makes a huge impact on our athletes' experience and success. If you’re interested in volunteering, please reach out!
